At The Bridge Church, our faith is centered on the timeless truths of the Gospel, revealing God's incredible love and plan for humanity. These beliefs guide everything we do and are the foundation of our hope:

One God, Three Persons We believe in one God, eternally existing and manifested in three distinct yet unified persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1:26; Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ: Our Savior and Lord We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God. He was miraculously born of a virgin, fully God and fully man, yet lived a perfectly sinless life. He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrificefor the sins of all mankind, was buried, rose triumphantly from the grave, and ascended into Heaven. John 1:14; 3:16; Hebrews 4:15; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 4; Luke 4

The Return of Jesus We believe in the literal, bodily return of Jesus Christ to Earth, when He will come again in glory. Revelation 19

The Authority of the Bible We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, entirely without error. It is the complete and final authority for all matters of faith and life. 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21

Humanity: God's Special Creation We believe that mankind is a unique and special creation of God, wonderfully made in His own image. Genesis 1:26-27

The Reality of Sin We believe that humanity fell from grace through the sin of the first man, Adam. As a result, all people are sinners and are in desperate need of God's salvation. Genesis 3:15; Romans 5:12-15

Salvation by Grace Through Faith We believe that salvation is a free gift of God's grace, not something we can earn. It is received solely through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 6:23; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12

Eternal Security We believe that every person who genuinely places their faith in Jesus Christ for salvation is eternally secure in Him. Their salvation cannot be lost. John 10:28-30; Ephesians 1:13-14; Hebrews 7:25; 10:10, 14

Water Baptism: A Step of Obedience We believe that water baptism by immersion is an act of obedience to Christ's command and is a public declaration of one's faith in Him, following salvation. Romans 6:3-10

The Local Church We believe that the local church is the visible body of baptized believers, with the Lord Jesus Christ Himself as its ultimate Head. Ephesians 1:22-23

Direct Access to God We believe that every believer has direct access to God through our Lord Jesus Christ and through the study and understanding of the Bible, God's inspired Word. 1 Timothy 2:5-6; Hebrews 10:19-26
